We had a lunch of decent-to-subpar bar food here. The ultimate nachos did not impress. Nothing interesting about the flavors here, just a lot of cheese and unseasoned ground beef. The ratio of topping-to-chip was also off (we had lots of toppings left over). Buffalo shrimp were good. The chicken fingers turned out to be very good -- these were the surprise standout of what we ordered. They had the kind of batter you might expect to see on fish-and-chips style fish, or maybe a corndog. These were great. The wings were poor -- the skin was chewy and not crisp. Nor were they tossed in enough sauce for my taste. The food was very slow coming out of the kitchen. Worse, we were at one point served water that tasted like dirty, spongy dishwater. Basically like a sponge was wrung out into our cups. Very weird, and very gross.

Came here for dinner with my mom. The food was decent but the service was sooooo slooooooow. We ordered the Chicken Mezza Pasta and Fish & Chips. Both came with salad, and tasted fine. But, the waitress didn't bring out the bread until we were halfway done with our entrees. That was just weird. The bread should come out with the salad at least. And, we had to ask for basic items, like ketchup to go with the fries and more water. We shouldn't have to ask for ketchup....most waitresses automatically bring ketchup when someone has fries. And, if you see that our glasses are empty, bring more water. And, it wasn't even busy. There were only 3 tables with people that night. So, I don't understand where our waitress kept disappearing to. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this restaurant. Bad service can overshadow decent food.

What a disaster. I'm not even sure where to start. I am writing this as I sit here at the bar. Jules is a sweet person (bartender) but they are so out over their skis it's not even funny. Bartender had to unplug the TV to make a frozen drink. There is a power strip hanging from the ceiling with about 10 things plugged into it. We were going to eat but at this point we are just happy to get our drinks. 3 servers covering the whole place. They need a lot of help.

Great covered outdoor bar area. Great service (wonderful waitress), the food was delivered quickly. The food was delicious. Buuuutttttttttt.........I saw three roaches. One in my booth, and two on the ceiling.

This newly refurbished restaurant and venue brings back what I used to love about this place fifteen years ago, while updating both the menu and decor to modern times. The food has also had a makeover by bringing back one of the chefs who used to work here some years ago to be the head chef. I came for lunch so I had the fish and chips, served with a Caesar Salad, measuring up to what I have had in some amazing restaurants. There is also a fantastic deck with live music and TV's as well as an awesome back room with a dance floor for parties and events. This place comes highly recommended as a Satellite Beach favorite. Enjoy!

Clam Chowder is excellent! Ahi tuna appetizer was great, fish and chips were decent as well. Outside bar is really cool and the staff is really nice. The outside Tiki-Bar itself is close to the road, so occasionally traffic noise is loud, but Satellite is a really chill beach town so traffic is never really heavy. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area.

Waste your money somewhere else. The service was ssslllloooowww. The food was mediocre at best and by mediocre I mean edible. There was not one item we ate that we thought 'wow this is good.' We were just thankful we could stomach it at that point. The poor server was the only one on the floor and said she was fairly new and although very nice, she was not knowledgable of the menu at all and could not answer many questions. We were also overcharged and had to wait on that to be cleared up. It was a disaster all the way through.

Great place for sea food. Out door tiki bar is a great place ro mingle with friendly locals. Has alot of fun events all week. Fun dancing and even dance lessons. My wife loves the calamari . Fresh lightly battered. Yum. I get the scallops shrimp campus pasta every time.

The red snapper, which was on the special, had a really bad fishy smell. The salmon portion was small & looked & tasted as if came from a prepared frozen package. The fried oysters were excellent. The fried sea food platter was excellent.

Fun location, nice people. Took about an hour and 30 and the place was not crowded. Food was noticeably plain. Nothing was a rebuy, it's 8:30 pm and it was our only meal today. Disappointed all around.

Very nice atmosphere and the fresh Carolina redfish I had was delicious. Good live music to dine by inside this Saturday evening. The Hostess at my accommodation recommended the restaurant. E had just driven down from SC and we're tired a hungry. Good drinks! Very friendly local patrons and staff was attentive. My husband enjoyed his fresh fried shrimp both meals came with two side plenty of food! The cup of Ham and bean soup was also very tasty. We will be back!

Suzy Q was an amazing waitress...friendly, helpful, attentive. The outside had a whole different atmosphere than inside...we ate lunch outside in the tiki hut area. Roadside noise, but didn't mind because the food was phenomenal. Fish & fries met the high standard of crispy and moist. Hubby had spinach pie and Greek salad....literally wanted to drink the dressing.

On the recommendation of our bartender over at the Hilton, we decided to check out Neptune for dinner. It had just the right amount of kitsch and the food was A-OK, but I'm giving it four stars for awesome service. Our waitress was fantastic! Friendly and attentive. She urged us to stay and listen to the live band but we also sort of felt like the only people in this huge restaurant. Absolutely starving, I made the mistake of ordering a bowl of clam chowder before my entree. It was good, but so filling. I then had grilled cobia for an entree. Little did I know that this huge portion of fish would come with a dinner size salad and then TWO more sides. Wow. So I finished most of my fish (I love cobia, and neptune does a great job of preparing it) and then brought the rest to go. Which due to my hotel set-up and no microwave, was still wasted anyway. For atmosphere alone, I kept thinking Gordon Ramsey was going to bust through the door at any minute to do an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The prices were very reasonable. I felt kind of bad that this place was so dead on a Friday night. If I were ever back in town, I wouldn't count this place out.

Great food, decent prices, tropical atmosphere! This is my second visit and if you want a good sandwich and incredible fries this is your place!

My husband and I are locals and after the most amazing Mother's Day dinner I am compelled to write my very first review. The staff at The Neptune makes everyone feel like family; Gus, Sue, Peter, Grace, Kiki, Jules, and the gang are warm, friendly, and go out of their way to make sure their customers are well served. They also really know how to put the "happy" in happy hour! Sue is one of the most entertaining bartenders I've had the pleasure of meeting! The specials change daily; we frequently eat there for lunch and always look forward to seeing what's cookin'. The soups are THE BEST! On Mother's Day, after happy hour, we looked at the special dinner choices that were offered and decided to stay. My husband raved for two hours about the delectable seafood trio (mussels, scallops, and shrimp over linguini in garlic cream). I think he even talked a few other customers into ordering it. The deck is beautiful and on hot Florida afternoons nothing goes better with the shaded deck and ocean breeze than a cocktail with the friendly locals. We will see you there!

Rated 2 Stars because I have experienced better. The remodeled restaurant is nice inside, light an airy, with a nautical theme. The deck area retains it's old look, but has some new faux-painted stepping stones on the concrete. There was a guitarist playing, but we just ordered drinks on the deck and headed inside. Patrons were a mix of all ages, which was nice to see. We dined with another couple and were seated under a ceiling fan. The large, tropical fan blades gave our table a nice strobe effect due to a nearby recessed light. It was not a pleasant atmosphere for eating, and we did not bother to change anything due to all the tables having the same effect. If you go, try to get a booth. The food quality was not up to par, based on other reviews here, though it is a major step above what used to be served when it was The Cove. For the price, everyone in our party thought the serving sizes were minimal. The catch of the day was mahi, and it did not have any flavor. The yellow rice tasted institutional and didn't go well with the mixed vegetables that seemed fresh. No complaints about the shrimp scampi or scallops. We did not stay for the live entertainment that was available on a Friday night. I might be tempted on returning to try one of their half-pound burgers, as they seem like a good value for the listed price.

Boring. A very unimaginatve and limited menu. A lot of fried foods. Clam strips were mostly breading. Service was okay. We were in the interior dining room. The outside bar and dining area looked better. Ours was not. Will probably not go back.

I stopped by Neptune's on a drive through Cocoa with my girlfriend in search of some seafood. We ordered the crab leg specials which included sides and a crab cake. The crab legs were good size; crab cakes went great with the rémoulade sauce. The sides were very small and ok (just some grilled vegetables and rice). The service we were given by Meghan was good; she was attentive and really nice! overall good price for crab legs!

My first impression upon walking into this place was not a great one but i was quickly pleasantly surprised. The outside bar had a nice vibe and the drinks were strong. Once we were seated inside at our table out waitress was very attentive and accomodating. The food was good although we only had apps == the DJ was playing current songs and the overall experience turned out to be a great one!- good night of food , drinks and dancing! -cant go wrong

Finally, after living here for more than 13 years, a seafood dinner where no one had any complaints at all - food (quality), price (appropriate), staff (like family), ambiance (comfortable). We eat out at least once a week and in all these years we have tried them all. The hardest bill to fill was a seafood resturant that lives up to their claims. Well friends - Neptune Bar and Grill hits the mark. Leery about taking family and/or visiting friends out for a seafood dinner? Don't be, you won't be dissatisfied. P.S If you want wings - go to a sports bar.

I've been here several times for lunch and it has always been really nice. I've had the Gyro more than once and it's always stacked high with meat and the sauce was very tasty. The wings are quite good and the beer is ice-cold. The service has always been attentive (but I'm usually at the patio bar). I'd be happy to bring friends here.

This was my first time to Neptunes, it is defiantly someplace to go back to! The salad was fresh and the Ginger lime vinegrette was really good! I had shrimp stuffed with crab and there was lots of crab not just filling! It is on the list to do again!

Have eaten here in the past and it was good. Yesterday myself and a friend ordered gyros. We both have been on the toilet all day. Not sure what changed but it is BAD! We have decided to never eat here again. Like most people, I work and can't afford to be on the toilet all day long.

I was a little disappointed as this was my first time in Melbourne or Florida period! This was the first restaurant my fiance and I tried out in the city. Unfortunately, it was not as good as we had hoped. The restaurant was quiet when we walked in, a couple of tables outside at the bar and maybe one or two inside. The server was a little less than thrilled to be there. He made it pretty apparent that service was not his forte, but I guess it's ok... They had an interesting mix of food as it was not straight Italian or American... it had a mix of a bit of everything. My fiance had a gyro that came with fries and I had the Linguine with Clams. Since we were at the coast, I figured that the seafood shouldn't be bad. While we waited, we were asked if we wanted garlic bread and we said yes. The bread was a brick... as if it was made this morning, heated up for someone else, left out, and reheated again. When the food came out, the food was alright, seriously nothing to "write home about". But they did give you enough food for you to get stuffed on. The server was SO enthusiastic about us being there (can you sense my sarcasm?) that he never really came around. What did come around though were flies. When my fiance used the restroom, he saw bigger ones coming from the kitchen area. Appetizing, right? My suggestion, if you're in the area... I would pass it up...

Wont be on my list to go back. Waitress kept talking to what I'd guess was husband and kid, lacked on our service. Food came out cold. Other dish the fish on bottom was soggy.

Used to be called The Cove-is now called Neptune's. They have been through quite a few changes-don't know if it is the same owners-but just tried it again and we were very pleased. They seem to have finally mastered the three most important things: good food, good service, and good ambiance. The outside is very cafe/beachy/bar...on A1A, not the ocean, but you get the breeze as though you were. Really comfortable. I do wish the live guitar music with synthesizer was not so loud, but that is me. I prefer conversation with very soft music. The menu is good now-not too long and the items we ordered were done very nicely. Calamari appetizer, spinach pie and greek salad, salmon entree...very fresh. Really friendly service. We will definitely go back and are so happy a beachside landmark has come back so strong. I know at night they get a live music/bar scene vibe, but we were there from about 6 to 8pm on a Saturday and it was very quiet.

The food was good- we opted to share a plate of tacos. The waiter was kind and attentive. The place was a ghost town for lunch, so I'm surprised they stay open for it. Maybe it was just a slow day. I would recommend the specials they offer.
